Anthony Chedid

Anthony and his family moved to Carnegie Hill four years ago after spending decades living in areas in the city from the Flatiron to Murray Hill. “This is permanent,” he said, adding that Carnegie Hill’s proximity to Central Park and its schools attracted the family the most.

Mr. Chedid heads his own real estate company. “Our business model is adaptive re-use of existing buildings to retain the character of the property, many times converting buildings 100 years old. We have never torn down a building, and never plan to,” he said.

In his spare time, Anthony enjoys running along the reservoir in Central Park. He and his wife, Frances, have three children: Anthony, 7, at Saint David’s School; Floriane, 4, at Convent of the Sacred Heart; and Carlin, 2, at Playgarden Prep
