I have resided in Carnegie Hill for more than 20 years. While there are many wonderful places to live in New York City, Carnegie Hill is particularly special to me. There is a true sense of community here. People know and support their neighbors, local shopkeepers, and restaurants. The neighborhood charm, the beautifully preserved architecture, and the well-maintained streetscapes are due in great part to the devoted volunteer work of Carnegie Hill Neighbors. It has been a privilege to be affiliated with this hardworking group of individuals and to serve this lovely community in many facets, including fundraising, educational events, and streetscape improvement.
