Margaret Loeb found Carnegie Hill Neighbors through the organization’s efforts to rally community opposition against sidewalk cell towers in historic districts. She joined the board in 2024, wanting to help protect the historic integrity of Carnegie Hill. Margaret worked at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company for more than two decades, and now serves as a senior advisor, while also running her own consultancy. She loves watching ballet and antiquing. Margaret lives with her partner, Eric, and their adopted Siamese cat, Simba, having moved to the neighborhood from Greenwich Village in 2002. She serves on the marketing and preservation committees.
