Mark Goldsmith, Vice President

 Very simply, I have served on the board of directors of CHN for close to 25 years because it is the service organization that has had the most positive influence, outside of the NYC government, over Carnegie Hill, where my wife Arlene and I raised two children and have lived for over 50 years. Its focus on beautification, safety, and preservation align very closely with our thoughts about what is really important to us with respect to where we live in NYC. Selfishly, serving on the CHN board has always been an easy “do” for me as I get a great deal of satisfaction knowing that the work that I am doing makes life better for the Goldsmith family as well as the neighborhood at large.
