Enroll Your Building in Our

Neighborhood Programs

Join the many buildings across Carnegie Hill that are investing in the neighborhood's safety, cleanliness, and beauty through our Security Patrol Program, Park Avenue Malls Program, and Graffiti Removal Program.

Participating buildings receive public recognition on our website and in Carnegie Hill News, a neighborhood favorite. This recognition showcases your building's commitment to neighborhood safety and community stewardship while reinforcing its reputation among current and prospective residents. As an added benefit, all residents of participating buildings receive Carnegie Hill News delivered directly to their door, helping them stay informed about neighborhood news, events, preservation efforts, and community initiatives.

Buildings can enroll in one program or participate in all three, depending on their needs and interests.  Support the Programs That Keep Carnegie Hill Safe, Clean, and Beautiful

Park Avenue Mall Program

For more than 40 years, Carnegie Hill Neighbors has lovingly cared for the Park Avenue malls from 86th to 96th Streets—transforming once-neglected stretches into vibrant green spaces filled with seasonal flowers and trees.

Today, CHN continues this stewardship from 86th to 97th Street, maintaining lawns and flower beds with regular watering, weeding, soil care, and repairs to railings and signage. We also oversee rotating seasonal plantings — from spring tulips to summer begonias — bringing color, beauty, and life to Park Avenue year-round.

At the northern end, just before the Metro-North tracks, a small garden at 97th Street marks the final stretch of the malls. Though modest in size, it stands as a symbol of CHN’s long-standing commitment to keeping Carnegie Hill green, welcoming, and beautifully maintained.

Join Us

We invite co-ops, condos, and neighbors adjacent to Park Avenue to join our Park Avenue Mall Program and take part in this conservancy-style partnership. By participating, your building helps sustain the ongoing care that keeps these iconic green spaces thriving for the entire community.

Your participation helps ensure regular watering, weeding, trash pickup, railing repairs, and the year-round care that keeps this iconic stretch looking its best—from the garden at 97th Street to the southern end at 86th.

Safety Patrol Car Program

The Carnegie Hill Neighbors Safety Patrol Car enhances neighborhood security through regular patrols that provide both a visible deterrent to unwanted activity and a reassuring presence for residents. Working in partnership with our security team, the patrol helps address quality-of-life concerns, monitor neighborhood conditions, and support a safer, more welcoming community for all.

Join Us

By participating in the Patrol Program, your building joins a neighborhood-wide effort to enhance safety and quality of life in Carnegie Hill. Patrol officers maintain regular contact with participating buildings, helping identify concerns, share information, and provide an added layer of visibility throughout the community.

Each participating building receives security tags that enable officers to digitally check in as they patrol the neighborhood. These documented check-ins help ensure consistent coverage and accountability, while giving residents confidence that their building is part of a trusted and visible safety network.

Graffiti Removal Program

Carnegie Hill Neighbors’ Graffiti Removal Program keeps our streets clean, welcoming, and well cared for through regular, proactive service around participating buildings. Our professional team removes graffiti from mailboxes, lampposts, utility poles, and other streetscape elements to help refresh each block. All work is done overnight to minimize disruption for residents and pedestrians.

Neighbors can report problem areas, while the CHN team also actively monitors blocks to ensure high-impact locations and participating buildings receive the consistent care and attention they deserve.

Join Us

Building participation helps keep the public areas around your property clean, welcoming, and true to the character of our neighborhood. When your building enrolls in the program, CHN will regularly monitor and remove graffiti from nearby surfaces—enhancing the appearance and atmosphere of our shared streetscape.
