Yorkville Alliance Business Improvement District (BID)
Over the past three years, the Yorkville Alliance Steering Committee—comprised of local residents, property owners, tenants, and community stakeholders—has worked closely with New York City to identify the services and improvements most needed in the Yorkville neighborhood of the Upper East Side.
Through this community-driven planning process, the Yorkville Alliance is proposing the creation of a Business Improvement District (BID) to provide enhanced sanitation, public safety, beautification, and other neighborhood services.
Carnegie Hill Neighbors has been a key partner and active leader in this effort, working alongside Steering Committee members to help shape the proposed BID and advocate for investments that will strengthen the neighborhood.
Carnegie Hill Neighbors is proud to play a leading role in this important neighborhood initiative, and we encourage those who live or work within the proposed BID boundaries to make their voices heard and VOTE.
For the BID to move forward, at least 51% of commercial and residential property owners within the proposed boundaries must vote YES.
