Fifth Avenue from 82nd to 110th Streets

(Visit CHN at 86th Street!)

The beloved walking tours from the Carnegie Hill Architectural Guide are coming to the Bloomberg Connects app — join us at the 2026 Museum Mile Festival on to celebrate the launch of the first tour!

Carnegie Hill Neighbors is proud to partner with the 48th Annual Museum Mile Festival to launch 'Museum Mile & Highlights of Fifth Avenue', the first of seven new audio walking tours exploring the history, architecture, and stories that make Carnegie Hill unique.

As Fifth Avenue transforms into New York City’s biggest block party—with free museum admission, live performances, art activities, and family-friendly programming from 82nd to 110th Streets—festivalgoers will be among the first to experience this new self-guided tour.

Visit CHN’s table at 86th Street to celebrate the launch with coloring activities, a family-friendly scavenger hunt inspired by the tour, and more. Then set off to discover hidden stories, architectural treasures, and neighborhood landmarks while enjoying one of the city's most beloved cultural traditions.

The Audio Tour

Carnegie Hill Neighbors is excited to launch a new audio walking tour, Museum Mile and Highlights of Fifth Avenue — one of seven featured routes from our Carnegie Hill Architectural Guide.

Developed in partnership with the Bloomberg Connects app, this self-guided experience invites visitors to explore Fifth Avenue while uncovering lost mansions, modern architectural masterpieces, and the distinctive architectural styles that shape Carnegie Hill. Along the route, visitors can also step inside featured museums that use Bloomberg Connects to bring their collections and stories to life.

The launch coincides with the 48th Annual Museum Mile Festival, when a massive stretch of Fifth Avenue from 82nd to 110th Streets closes to traffic and transforms into New York City’s biggest block party.

In the meantime, begin exploring with the Carnegie Hill Architectural Guide.
